Re: ERROR PW RESET: PlayStation®Store is not available in the selected country or region.

I also managed to reset my password with the substitution of "security" with "reset" but cannot access my account from the site and cannot sync trophies. I get the stupid "PlayStation®Store is not available in the selected country or region" message when I do not try to access the store at all.

I am from Bulgaria, too, and we are pretty much totally neglected by Sony, even though we are in the EU. We have to create UK accounts like this one to shop properly.

I also noticed that the blackout bugged some online trophies for certain games. It seems Sony is in much deeper ***** than they admit. I wonder when or if they will ever restore full functionality to the PSN.

[ Edited ]

Hi I am from Malta and I had the same problem as all of you. I have been searching the internet for a fix for weeks now, contacted sony multiple times (to no avail they're a bunch of arrogant idiots).

ANYWAY, I FOUND A FIX!!!!!!!!

First of all you're gonna need 2 accounts: I obviously used my maltese account, and a US account (i'm sure you can use an english or any other activated account).

  1. Go on your ps3, log in to get the usual "email was sent to...." Dont follow the link on the email its f**ken usless as you all know.
  2. Now go to https://account.qriocity.com/pc/reg/account/forgot-password!input.action to request a forgot password reset of your US account.
  3. You should receive a different link on a different email which should look something like this:

https://account.qriocity.com/reg/account/validate-forgot-password-token!input.action?token=***&reque...

4. Switch the code (the one I replaced by ***) to have a qriocity link with the PSN code of your sony forsaken country. Yes the codes are compatible!!

5. NO MORE PlayStation®Store is not available in the selected country or region.

I suggest you do it fast before sony realize and "fix" the FIX. You are all welcome. Happy online gaming!
