is there not anyone on here that has had an error code 80028E05?  I just bought a brand new 160 gig and tried to connect it to the PSN network and nothing.  PS3 is pulling a IP address but is not getting internet.  I took the PS3 back and Gamestop replaced it with anouther but the same error code came up.  Thing is, is that I had a old 60 gig that worked just fine on the same exact connection.  Does anyone have an idea???  I even called Sony and they were stumped by the error code.

I have had the same problems.  The support line told me to ask the IT services at the campus I live on to open new ports.  IT refused to open them so I don't know if that would work.  I believe the error isn't console based.  I think it's something Sony changed during the unannounced maintenance on November 18th.  Good luck

the thing is, is that i work for IT on campus, and the only thing i can think is that our security system might think the PSN network is a malicious network and is blocking it

I'm having a huge problem purchasing items off the PSN, earlier my PSP couldn't get onto any website at all (it would connect). Now it seems thats been solved but I'm still having trouble purchasing and adding funds, and it's not just on PSP either, Media GO! and the quriocity management won't do it either, and yes my details are correct! The error code I encouter on my PSP is 80551002

Hi, Everytime I load up black ops, I just randomly get this error message the number is 80029207 and it says the data is corrupt, just wondered what I should do.

Hi All,

I wanted to find the answer before posting but couldn't really wade through 118 pages - so my sincere apologies.

Changed my modem to a Wireless router Netgear DGN100 - had my PS3 online at a previous house but that was about 2 years ago so before they system will allow me to join Playstation Network etc it requires a System up date 3.5 I believe.

I can surf the net OK but it wont allow me to do this update very easily - 5 attempts anjd it came back with 80710723 then finally allowed me to do the update. However nearly 2 hours in and it was only 10% - It's also worth noting that my 5 green lights that were shining brightly / flickering then only become 4 as the light in No4 would periodically go red?

I am no expert on this stuff infact I am a really novice to be honest so any advice in the simplest of terms would be greatfully recieved.

I must admit the speed of my broadband connection seems significantly slower with this router as well? It could just be me getting frustrated though.

It's a talk talk broadband - Talk3 which I think is 8 Meg and 40GB a month.....whatever that means?

Any help will be really really appreciated!

Hi, Ive been trying to play ACB but everytime i go to load it, it says

"registration of the trophy information could not be complete. the game will quit (8003051E)"

and that code is one that say the games cant save whats that got to do with me trying to play the game,

it gets to the first loading screen and then stops and says this....

does anyone know what is wrong

wow ps3 network can go lick a big fat coc.k. OMG all it does is crash. Now my download a 39mb download is going to take me 30mins and it constantly comes up withj an error. i run at 700kps/sec so 39 mb so be downloaded in like 45 seconds???Download time is now up to 50mins at 2% done OMG so annoying
