Hmm, not to sure. Even so can you still log in via your old ones? This may not be right but they may be blocking you from creating new accounts through your cookies, just a though.

Well if i google it the only list it comes up with is this one. Really bad tbh as i am getting them from unofficial sources..

I will try and find out, seems to be a internal error though.

I've got it too! Could this be a 20Gig PS3 error? Will this be fixed anytime soon?

Have you tried ringing the sony careline to ask if they no what the error is?

I keep getting error code 8002F994 when trying to install the 1.80 firmware upgrade, it only downloads 2%, so I am unbale to join the PS3 network or visit the store. My internet connection passed the connection test. Any ideas what this error is? I have also tried upgrading the firmware via my USB stick by downloading it via my PC, this error 80029C68 pops up saying the data is corrupt, I have re formatted my USB and re-tried but this still happens.

I would post in the Technical Help and Advice Area of these forums or call 08705 99 88 77 which is the UK Careline Number (they even work on Saturday). Alternatively are you connecting via Wireless? (If so see if you can use a direct connnection) I had trouble with my router dropping out all the time which made downloads almost impossible!
