does that mean take it out and then put it back in?
I've done that serviral times and its failed

update the firmware on ur router and all will b well

I don't know about anyone else but im getting tones of different error codes... here are two of my faves:

8002A548
80710D23

i have lots more but im not quick enough to write them down lol

Who thought that such awesome technology would be riddled with problems... but hey i still love the ps3

I keep getting error code 80029564 there was a problem during installation.
I know several people have posted queries about it but with no solutions.
If anyone knows a way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I have had a few problems connected my PS3 onto the internet.

I keep getting networking errors and when I do get online I usually disconnected with more errors. I usually get about 5 or more diffreent types of error, from DNS errors to 80710B23 error.

I have tried different things such as, deselecting UPnP and I have opened the ports that have been suggested on other threads.

I was wondering if there is anything else wrong with my setup?

Here is some information on my router set up:
Model: Netgear DG834PN
My router allocates different IPs 192.168.0.? (changes from 2 or 3 usually)
ISP: Orange
Speed: up to 8Mb but usually about 2.5Mbs
Signal Strength: 65% - 85%

If there is anymore information that is needed just let me know

Out of interest what would you say is the lowest acceptable percentage of signal strength that the PS3 can use to get online with minimum fuss?

I have had my ps3 since its release and for a while i could connect to my wireless Netgear DG834G v3 router with a wpa-psk password fine. However, i recently started to get the error code 8013013E. I can disable the password for my router but then i am only able to get a NAT type 3 connection. WEP doesn not work at all, (i found this out when i first tried to set wireless up). I have also allowed access to all the required ports but the erroe still continues to appear.unfortunatley Netgear do not have the DMZ option so i cannot bypass it by doing that. My PC, Laptop PSP, iTouch and Xbox 360 all connect perfectly it is just the ps3 which is having problems so i am not exactly sure where the error lies. The PS3 can connect with the ethernet cable but with a "wireless console" why should we have to have wires? Setup: Router: Netgear DG834G v3 ISP: AOL Speed: upto 8mb Signal Strength: 100% if you need any more information just let me know. i know what you will be talking about so don't worry about trying to make it easier to understand. Anyway any help would be appreciated

Hello, I also have the problem 80010017 when starting some games: 1°) Logo "playstation 3" 2°) Black screen during +- 2 minutes 3°) Back to system menu with "Error 80010017 when starting game" (traduction from french) It seems not to be a Blue Ray Disk problem because: -no problem with some games(Simpsons, Resistance-Fall of man) -problem appears with "assasin" and all dowloaded demo from Playstation network I tried to delete all info of the game, and "reinstall", but problem is still there. Important remarks: until yesterday, I had no problems with one of those games :-/ Any idea ? All information found on google and this forum are not relevant until now(or in spanish, and I don't speak spanish )
