It always comes down to this, as a consumer of video games I own both a PS3 and an XBOX 360. As an XBOX 360 owner I very rarely feel annoyed at other regions because we get content a few hours apart and largly nothing is different beyond maybe a region specific theme or pic pack, usually sponsered by a US company. If they give a release date they stick to it, if they say something is coming out it comes out.
As a PS3 owner I often feel annoyed, confused and not entirely sure Sony want my money. It's great that we now get the store update the day after SCEA get theirs BUT...
The stores are totally different both in layout and offers
The content can very wildley
The content is often broken
The content is often missing
The content is often delayed
Dungeon Defenders is a perfect example, everywhere said it would be out yesterday. Microsoft had no problems releasing multilangual versions within 24 hours yet Sony can't?
Sony need to scrap this them and us policy when it comes to regions, treat us as one not many. Don't treat the EU like lepers, do they even understand that most people in Europe CONSUME games that are in English and have been doing it that way for many, many years?

Old news, why are we still discussing this. By continuing to buy SCEE products, I accept that I will pay more than my American/Japanese contemporaries, but also that I will get a much poorer service. I guess that even with the way we are treated in Europe, the sony PlayStation products are too enticing to leave, I will eg be getting Vita on day 1!!
