Filtering out the US

Is there a way to block playing against PS3 gamers from the US?  I ask as more often than not they are overly agressive and abusive.  I just want to have some casual online gaming and i'd probably play more online if it was all just a bit more chilled out.

Re: Filtering out the US

I think we should be more integrated with the americans..... As we speak the same language.. Its always annoying when you join a game full of Germans.. or French people.

I'd sooner play with a bunch of germans, at least they have more respect and are not elitist.

Re: Filtering out the US

I've always found american players to be FAR better than european gamers. Americans usually seem much more friendly but with Europeans you can't go one minute without some sort of insult being thrown around, and that's only when you can actually understand the european players, half the time when playing online all I can hear are french and german languages etc, and very very rarely you'll find another english speaking person.

Re: Filtering out the US

had plenty of run ins with other european players , insults and stupid claims

never ever had any issues with any americans who seem pretty laid back and friendly when playing

if you want to hang out with a bunch that don't take gaming too serious (though during the quiz time tempers can fly!) check out

we meet up every wednesday and play games - though generally any game from the store.

or check out this calendar which shows meet-ups here in the english section of the european forum

hope this helps.

ps you could always mute abusive players aswell. just saying!
