what a joke, Grief report is about as in use as the reporting in Blackops.....it's only there to make people think abuse will not be tolerated..........

A nice feature but tbh unless someone can hear or read both sides of a abuse / flamin session its not really a fair system , i got a warning email fer calling someone a sick c*&^ via msg as i didnt have my headset charged , but tbh after what he had said to this other younger gamer id do the same again as he was a c(*^ , but it seems that Sony have a 1 sided view of this and their system of grief reporting shows this , i will never use it as im not a grass , but a great feature that hopefully Sony will work on and improve as time goes on , for the 1st time in quite a while from me a +10 from me Sony wp

Why do people think it's ok to send abusive messages?
Why can't people be kind and keep the peace.
What's wrong with the world these days.
I sent a GR yesterday playing FIFA Clubs we got dc'ed the the opposite team won, fair enough.
But why did the guy call me a MF for no reason?
Is it cool these days to do such a thing?
I mean for god sake two men dc'ed and the match was over.
We didn't quit we never quit.

It's a shame that people think so negative these days.
Hope that people just get on with having a little fun and stop being so immature.

Because it's the internet and people can get away with being all hard and big. You can bet that in real life 99% of them wouldn't do anything.

When I was PC gaming about 7 years ago we all played a clan match and it got quite heated. Afterwards each one of us received a death threat on private messages on our forum.

I reported 2 people a few weeks ago for having highly offensive names on the PSN and they're still running around on it now.

probably the wrong place to post this but i can't find anywhere else. is there anyway of contacting psn directly as i am receiving emails about purchases on my psn account and it isn't me doing it. has their security been breached again?? maybe if there are any admins on this forum they could get back to me

Does the Grief Report actually work i use it if i get swear words in my inbox what happens does the offending message go to Sony ive never heard of people being banned by this method.

If you receive an offensive PSN message, and you grief it, it is taken very seriously by Sony, as it is a personal offence unmistakeably directed at you.

Musterbuster, how long does it take for a grief report to be processed? Today, I had this guy who kept sending me PSN messages and harassing me because I'm British. He sent a few and I reported all of them and protected the messages. How long will it take to ban him?
