Im confused about Grief Reporting if anyone on these forums can tell me i use Grief Reporting what actually happens does the offending message go to Sony & they look into it i Grief Reported someone for swearing/bad language

Nothing will be done about the cheats.

Ive been on the website,you can only report cheating on SONY titles.

A recent PSN game has had its time trials scoreboards ruined by someone using a modified controller...Not going into details,because i don want other people doing this.

But its clearly visable in his ghost replays - And he admitted it,when i asked him on this (tooms109) account .......Infact,hes taking great pleasure from it.

The only way SONY/developers are going to do something about this scurge,is when it starts hitting them in the pocket.

Well ,for the this said game - I will not be buying the add-on packs.Whats the point now that the game has been ruined? .....Thus,hitting a developer in the pocket.

this is not the 1st time cheating has stopped me buying DLC.

The way i see it at the moment,is that the cheats have all the power.

The power to make or break a game online.

I'm getting sick to the back teeth with it all if i'm honest.

I've been playing Mortal Kombat online a fair bit recently and I've been shocked at the amount of rage and hatmail this game generates, I've played other fighters, but MK players seem to be a group full of tantrums (I love the game though, it's great fun).

I also find it slightly worrying just how nasty people are to each other when they think they can get away with it.

Hi how do I report cheats and hackers of 3rd party titles that are spoiling PSN? Mainly I can se the report function in MW3 IF they stay in the lobbly after a game, unfortunately most cheat then back out before I can report them. [names deleted] are the most recent culprits. Because of the increased amount of cheating I have not bought a sony product for over 6 months now.

Welcome to the forum

Naming and shaming is not allowed on the forum I'm afraid.  I'll see if a mod can remove the names from your post.

For the respective titles, you'll need to report them in game if there is an option.  Otherwise, all I can suggest is to contact the game makers themselves via their forum/phone/email to report them.

Sony can't control what players do in games.

I tryed to grief report someone yesterday but my PS3 froze as it was being sent i had to restart my PS3

Kudos. Thanks very much for this. I'm going to go on CoD5, find some hackers, and grief report them. (Not that Treyarch will give a sh*t, but anyway).
