I'm sure a lot of you, like me have wanted to have a gadget on Windows Vista that lets us see our trophy cards on out desktops. Well I think I have found a pretty good way. Now I would like to say that I have been been able to test how well it refreshes when you update it on uk.playstation.com since each time I  try the website errors, but this is Deffo a step in the right direction for an official trophy gadget.

First ill post a screenshot of what it looks like:

 

Now here are the steps to getting it onto your desktop:

1. Download THIS gadget (it is a static image viewer, meaning you can put links into the gadget for images from the internet, works the same way people link photos from PhotoBucket and the like.)

2. Find a post you have made on the forums and right click the trophy card in your sig and click "copy image location"

3. After that enter the following settings I have (shown in the the next screenshot), don't forget to paste the image URL into the URL box!

Click OK and your PortableID should now appear on your desktop, sorry but i don't know how to get rid of the pink boarder nor the dots lining the image.

Nice find, ive used it to display my playfire trophy card and xbl gamercard too Mainly because the official PSN png had them white dots showing.

i just installed that one and tryed to use it on the sidebar and i just get blank spaces
