I just subscribed, thinking it was necessary for the free games, but know there's no option to unsubscribe.

Do I really need to make a phone call to unsubscribe?!...

Goto account management on your ps3.

Turn off auto renew of playstion + subscription.

I would have thought SONY would have done this themeselves though with this 30 days trial?

There are going to be a lot of angry people on these forums in 30 days time ....Thats if they are silly enough to still use a bank card on PSN.

On the ps3 menu goto -

Playstation network -Account management - transaction managment - automatic funding.

You may be asked for you password.

This option is hidden away..So ,like i said.They will probably be a lot of angry people in 30 days time.

Thats if SONY didnt make it clear that it renews after the 30 days.

the free 30 days plus is not set to auto renew,so you have nothing to worry about my friend..but just for your peace of mind do this.....go to account management--transaction management--services list--then scroll to the ps+ icon--then click on the one that says subscription next to it,,,,and in there will be the option to turn off auto renew

I didn't have to give any card details when I subscribed to PSN+, therefore I share NEOSTORM's view in that there is no auto renew with the Welcome back pack for the PSN+.

Each user must elect to not to contrinue the service once the free trail is activated. As the email sent to all of us stated as we got back online...try this free for this amount of time...unless you call to cancel, during this 30 day period, your subscription will automatically continue at the current montthly fee. I just made sure that my automatic funding is turned off for the next few weeks. I do not need that extra charge.
