A friend downloaded his in half an hour but nealy took twice that to install lol

Does you internet have a CAP on it which slows all downloads when you go pass it as Infamous is over 7GB.

Dose your modem router need a reset?

Nope and nope. Never had a limited bandwidth and seeing as I downloaded all other games after it got stuck I'd say that kind of proves it.

Reset, didn't work.

I've downloaded my games and infamous was by far the slowest. But, I left it on overnight and had 4 of the 5 downloaded this morning. Download speeds from PS Store/network are always to slow for your connection. I can download a 100mb music file in 1.5 minutes from the newsgroups........ an 86mb update from playstation takes about 10 minutes.........  and thats when its not on maximum overload!!!

Talked to a neighbour this morning who was complaining of the same thing, Hubby asked if they were playing a game online at the same time as trying to download (which they were) and the game stopped the download...she couldn't understand why when they closed the game to watch the download it picked up, but as soon as her lad started his gaming it stopped again.

Not implying it's the same case with the OP though!

i have the same problem stuck on 88% i dont know whats going on. I have canceled the download 4 times now and retried gets stuck in the same spot 6424mb every time.  Its frustrating, and dead nation downloaded fine, I dont know what the problem is i just know that i want to play infamous.

Whats the remaining space on your hard drive?

Could that be the problem?

Exact same problem, I get stuck on 72% every time. I'd like answers please, Sony.
