I have tried your method and it has loaded without crashing,

also last night by trial and error I managed to get the game to load when I deleted the cache in the PS3 before loading the game (unfortunately I'm not technically minded so don't understand why this would have helped it to play)

I have just emailed a report to the tech guy at Ubisoft so I will post back here if I get a response.

I can't tell you anything about the gamecrashes, but i've got a slightly different problem with this game.

I bought it today from the PSN store, but all i can download is the trial version of the game.

When i press "get the full version" ingame it says "you can't buy something at the moment".

I payed for this game, so i want the full version and not just a trial oO

Did any of you guys have any downloads going on in the background (off the store)?.

Apparently this was causing it for a few people.

crashed my PS3 5 times... one time it works... most of the tries it doesn't

not had it crash....but thew screen with the battery flashing before the game stays on for ages, like a very long loading screen. at first i thought it crashed but the battery icon was flashing so i knew it wasnt a crash as such. waitied it out and it loaded.

If you've bought the game you should be able to download it from your download list in your account manager. You should also be able to re download it from the download list in the top right of the screen on the Playstation Store.

thx for the hint. i'll try this, but the only option in my DL-list says "I Am Alive (Trial)".  I don't think it'll work, but i give it a try.

Yes, I am having problems too. Flashing battery in top right corner if I am lucky then nothing. Hold power button reset is the only thing that works. Then I have to check the file system on the PS.

I am DL other games in the background. Proper amateur release!! Saddened.

I had the same issue. From what i can tell its to do with the inability of the ps3 to multitask. much like it takes hours to install games when you are downloading stuff.. the game has trouble loading in the same way. pause all your downloads before running the game and it should run with no problem

I got so fed up that it wouldn't even start after several attempts and having to turn off my system each time just to be able to it - I deleted to Fe*king thing - I'm getting really p**d off with SONY downloads this has happened sveral times - ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER - AFTER ANOTHER - AFTER ANOTHER - (please excuse the rant) - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SONY GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
