Key file problem with Wipeout HD

I went to play this tonight and it says I'm missing a key file, it ran fine when I last played it roughly a week or so ago. I assume I need to redownload a full game unlock key (which is in my services list!?!) but I can't find an option to download the key file anywhere. Going directly onto the Store to redownload HD/Fury asks me to pay for it...

This was one of the two games I chose from the Welcome Back package - I had downloaded it before as I chose it (without the Fury expansion) when PS+ first began but deleted it as I didn't play it too much at the time, so could that cause some sort of conflict?

Has anyone else had this problem? Incidentally, Dead Nation (the other game I chose from WB) works fine, I'm perplexed to say the least so help would be appreciated.

Re: Key file problem with Wipeout HD

Pick up the Key from Account Management > Transaction History > Download List. It's the only place you can re-download it from.

Re: Key file problem with Wipeout HD

Same problems, key file missing, no files on downloads list or account history.. and to take it one step further the WipeoutHD PSN files seem hidden, made a search and found it, but then it tells me I am restricted and have no access to the download.

It does show in my services list, but no hell from that location either.

So I tried deleting the install as it was currently useless in the false hope it would help,  but no joy.

Why did it ask for me to go locate a key file in the first place, surely the system should have sorted it as it lost it in the first place. Seems Sony are still loosing files but this time its from my console.

This is the exact reason people are worried about digital content, and I must admit it has caused headaches for me when i was supposed to be playing games and relaxing. Instead i find myself trawling the interwebs for answers and undergoing stress instead.

It seems the System outage still causing problems from the organisation of the welcome back package..

Re: Key file problem with Wipeout HD

I've just had a call from Gary from SCEE, and what they've done in my case is to add two new files to my download list (the trial and the game unlock). He said to download the trial first then the unlock and all should be good.

I'd advise anyone else who have had this problem to call Sony as soon as poss and they'll get it sorted for you.

Problem solved.
