i have a bt home hub 2. ive seen on the bt forums everyone is having this issue with mw3.

anyways it doesnt let me edit dchp table. also it has the mac and ip listed in there. but everytime i select a static adress and place it into dmz t comes up with 0.0.0.0.

also i do notice in the dmz section it states " hosts with statically ip adress's cannot be placed into dmz"

so your setting your ip first then saving changes then setting the dmz ip the same as the ip you just created then saving yes and your not putting your primary router as your ip are you , sorry cant help you furthur, ive tried

WELL....., ANOTHER LOT OF PEOPLE WITH STRICT NAT TYPE FOR MW3. I WILL BET MOST OF YOU HAVE A TELSTRA THOMPSON GATEWAY ROUTER, THERE IS AN EASY FIX FOR NOW. PUT MW2 IN AND GO TO MULTI PLAY, THAT BEING SAID, IF YOU HAVE MW2... AND WHILE AT THE MENU SCREEN EJECT THE DISK AND LOAD MW3. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO THIS 2 MAYBE 3 TIMES BUT ITS AS IF YOUR KEEPING YOUR LINE OPEN AND IT WILL COME UP OPEN NAT TYPE.... THIS BEING SAID IM PREETY SURE ITS AN ACTIVSION SERVER  PROBLEM AND THEY NEED TO FIX IT, AND FIX IT FAST. SO I ALSO RECOMMEND WE ALL GET ONTO ACTIVISION AND MAKE THEM AWARE OF THIS MASSIVE ISSUE... AS FOR THE ROUTER, THE TELSTRA TG782T IS LOCKED (GOOD OLD TELSTRA) AND THE ONLY STEP FROM HEAR IS GET SOMETHING THAT IS ABLE TO BE UNLOCKED AND SELECTED NAT TYPE AVAILABLE.... HOPE THIS HELPS PEOPLE....

i found that putting my ps3 into a dmz also didn't work, but i found a solution.

put in mw2 (i expect you have an open NAT type on that, if you don't, then this won't help) go to the party menu and eject the disc without quiting. put in mw3 and your NAT should be open. worked for me
