I just got NFS Shift 2 thru the PS+ offer and as soon as I logged into autolog the fist time the multiplayer option dissapeared from the menu leaving only single player and options.

Am I correct in understanding that online pass is not included?

Official responce would be nice, but anyone who bought the game this way are welcome to respond as well.

Online pass included as it is with EVERY psn game .

Have you made an account with EA origins if not then autolog won't work.

Yes, my EA account is an Origin account, I also use it on the PC version of the game without issue.

Game confirms I'm connected to autolog.

My guess is still that the free PS+ version downloaded from the store don't include an online pass.

Anyone else that got it for free that can play online?

There is no online pass in my download list, just the game itself.

I thought I was having the same issue, was able to log in to autolog fine, but no online. Turns out you have to complete your first "proper" race in Career mode before you can play online. Basically, the Suzuka Short Curcuit at the start is used to determine game difficulty, the first "proper" race is after you purchase your first car.

Thank you, worked like a charm.

Now, onward to the next problem: How to get access to my career on the PC version again. Autolog claims my password is wrong, which ofc is not true, but since they haven't included an option to retype the password the only sulution offered by EA is to DELETE YOUR CAREER AND START OVER!!! Who they got programming over there? A baboon?
