actually, they have been doing this, in a way, since early december - ok, it's not EVERYTHING, but they HAVE re-given away quite a few games that were given away over the first year's period and just a bit over...
their 12 days of christmas thing, they re-gave away games such as Critter Crunch, the Sam & Max 5-parter), a couple of Minis and some others, and just this past month they've re-given away the 6 SEGA games that were given to PS+ users early 2011 - Golden Axe, Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Altered Beast, Comix Zone and Streets of Rage 2.
I did mention this to a couple of customer service reps over time who said they'll pass the ideas on, and this was before xmas, so it looks like they've tried to do a little something - sure, it's not everything, but in doing this, i have been clammering back some games i'd lost (bear in mind there was some ***** game given away i'd be happy not to have again... Stacking and Cuboid spring to mind...) - but it's the really GOOD games im still waiting to get back again, such as Burnout Paradise (had that for 2 months until it expired), Wipeout HD (reverted back to the trial version), Castle Crashers (again, reverted back to trial), Zen Pinball (although they did give away the MUCH better Marvel Pinball in december...), and PAIN.
to be fair, for me, a lot of the Minis and PSOne "Classics" were crap, and only recently they started to give away some decent ones, such as Resident Evil Director's Cut, Rayman, Final Fantasy V and the Crash Bandicoot games...

If only I had noticed it before the x-mas ones came out it would have been nice. Nevertheless, it can't be that hard to actually give us the games again. The system knows we have downloaded them before (the blue shoppingbag), so why not just reactivate all expired downloads for all active PS+ customers?
Btw, anyone tried to extend their membership to see if they system would activate the old ones?

Yeah, it didn't work.

Reported it this morning. Guy on the phone tried to say that my "Welcome Back" 70 days were "downloaded" in the middle of my subscription and therefore my 12months had expired.
After much explaining on my part, referring back to this thread and the fact it was started over 5 months ago to put the whole issue in perspective.
I've basically said if I haven't heard back by Friday I want a full refund of the £39.99 I paid in for the first year as they are in breach of their "Subscription Agreement" because I cannot access the content I should be able to.
It's been escalated and I await a call....

Seriously ***** off with this now...
I have auto funding on, I have a registered debit card, I have £26 in my wallet, yet my account expired at 19.44 this evening and was not auto renewed.
As such I am no longer a PS+ subscriber (even though I wanted to be) and have lost access to all the games downloaded since December.
Why is this service so completely screwed up?

For the record, I have now deleted said Debit Card and turned off auto funding.
I just want my £39.99 back now, not as credit but as real money to spend elsewhere.
Can you manage that?
