Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

Got off the phone to them earlier today and I accpeted their offer to recredit my £39.99 (so I spend it on VITA content), however I did tell them about this thread and that they should really put an official statement out there about it.

Good luck guys, I'll keep watching :smileyhappy:

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

I'm still waiting on a callback on this... three weeks now. I did call them, but apparently it's a supervisor who is calling me back.

Absolutely hopeless service. It's cost them a Vita sale (I had one on pre-order but cancelled due to this) and I doubt I'll support Sony in any future console releases. When we pay money to a company for services and they screw it up, we need to be communicated with. It's terrible, so 3DS for portable gaming and the new X-Box for the next generation it is then. As has been said before, you need to vote with your wallets.

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

At the end of the day it's a new service from Sony, so there is bound to be a few problems in it's youth.

Sony will sort it out in the end, or make good of what has happened with the gamers, so i'm sticking this one out and supporting Sony with PS+.

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

I am very disappointed with Sony.

It is ridiculous how long this problem has already been taken.

I have also been thinking that I no longer invest money in Sony's services or devices.

And I do not recommend this Playstation Plus service to anyone.

It would be good if someone from Sony would comment here and tell us what is the latest situation with this issue!!!??? IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK??

The service is getting on for 2 year's old and the problem has been known to Sony for six months. What if the problem is still here in six month's time? At which point do you have to say "I have been completely let down with no solution offered"? ANY decent customer service would offer some kind of recompense. Yes, there are technical issues and things break. It's not about tardiness in fixing the issue or how capable they are of overcomnig a technical issue, it's about the treatment of the customers and supporters of Sony. SIX MONTHS and no answer, no offer of understanding, no "here have a £10 credit, we're really sorry". Just... Nothing... "You can call it quits and go on home" just isn't a decent customer response to breaking an agreement between you and loyal customers.

The service sucks, and it means the next new service they release will also suck if it goes wrong; and the next time you apply for an offer or try to buy something, it may also not work and you'll get stuffed by the same poor support.

I'm loath to give money to a company who refuse to talk, refuse to negotiate, refuse to support and refuse to fix issues. There's no trust because of this terrible handling of THEIR mistake.

http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/gb/tosua ( Just seen this? ) Wonder if that's why some PS+ users are missing content?

When you purchase a subscription to PlayStation®Plus you will have access to a package of Services ("PlayStation®Plus Elements") which will vary throughout your Subscription Period. Some PlayStation®Plus Elements will only operate on PS3™. Some PlayStation®Plus Elements may not be supported in some languages.

Some PlayStation®Plus Elements may be made available for download during limited periods only. If you do not access these PlayStation®Plus Elements during those periods, you may not have another opportunity. Unless otherwise notified at the time of download, your ongoing rights to access and use PlayStation®Plus Elements after your Subscription Period expires are as set out below:

Type 1. You will still be able to access and use the following PlayStation®Plus Elements after your Subscription Period expires, provided that you downloaded them before expiry:

  • Premium avatars
  • Premium themes
  • Game add-ons

Type 2. You will no longer be able to access and use the following PlayStation®Plus Elements after your Subscription Period expires, even if you downloaded them before expiry:

  • PlayStation®Network games
  • PS one® games
  • minis
  • Premium game elements

If you do not renew your subscription immediately at the end of each Subscription Period, but later renew your subscription, you may lose your rights to access any Type 2 PlayStation®Plus Elements.

PlayStation®Plus Elements may also be available for non-subscribers to purchase from the PlayStation®Store.

The following PlayStation®Plus Elements are only available for subscribers to access and use during the Subscription Period. Additional terms relating to individual PlayStation®Plus Elements are set out below:

Is that a recent up date in the Terms of PS+ as I have never seen it before

Below is a Signature

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

I would think so as they mentioned PSN to now SEN.

Edit: They also show this ( Version 5.6 (February 7, 2012)) at the end of the link given.

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

That update in terms shouldnt have any influence on our missing games since we've never let our subscription expire

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

Maybe where Sony gave PS+ extra days subs- due to the hacking their system doesn't tell the difference of renewal dating?

IE: If people renewed within the extra days given by Sony their system could think it was not renewed within the original sub-time?.
