***** !! is going on here. It's getting beyond a joke now.

My running PS+ sub still has ( 158 days ) left and would have ended = 14/09/2012.

So i just bought a ( 12 Month ) PS+ sub ( today ) too add to the ( already running sub )?

It shows i have bought the 12 month sub for £39.99 when i go to my ( account management ). But when i click on ANY game on my console, then go too Information it still shows i only have 158 days and NOT ( 523 days ). It also shows the ( 14/09/2012 ) as the expire date? ( This is WRONG )

The games i'm missing STILL have not shown up in my download list either?

So what now?

THIS HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED? So why it's showing a green solved tick is beyond me.

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

have you checked your download list on Playstation Store? also possible that since the games you referred to had NOT expired yet, that they may need to be re-activated for the extension? have you tried re-downloading any of them from the download list?

i know for a FACT that the EXPIRED games i had have been reactivated and given a new expirary date, and also the games that followed September ONWARDS have NEVER had an expirary date ("No Time Limit") when you click on Information...

well, technically, the ORIGINAL issue (games expired even though renewed within subscription) was solved, but your issue is now a different spin off it seems

first of all, try what ive suggested as i believe some other people in the past have had to do the same thing happen to them and were able to reactivate/extend the expirary date after re-downloading from their Download list... try it on some Minis or stuff with not a big file size...

if that doesn't work, you've got plenty of time to get a refund and try it again - my issue WAS solved by choosing the 90 day renewal and then everything came back and now works again....

I have both expired games, and  games that show 158 days. Not the new amount of days from buying 1 year sub. Don't worry i'm calling sony to sort this out now.

to be honest, it should have done what it says on the tin as you say - at the very least extend the expirary date of the games already in date... suggest refund/credit and try again... that IS a bizarre one... unless something went wrong during the purchase and the update didnt process correctly on your PS3...

but anyway, as i said before, definitely worked for me (and others it seems) to re-gain the expired games by choosing the 90-day sub but not tried with the 1 years re-sub

I have talked to Sony, and their Head Office called me back. Sony have said that this is STILL an on going case and that the 90 day sub and yearly sub would have made no difference as they are aware of PS+ members trying both.

They said that someone will call me when they get an update on this matter, and as soon as a ( complete resolution ) to this problem has been found they will also notify me.

I have had some games that were missing re-appear, ( not all games ) and some games that have been expired ( still expired ) even when clicking on them to use ( Like Sony told me to do ). Now some of  the games that showed 158 days left before expire time, are still showing these days while some of them are now showing over 500 days.

Fact is " PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period " is still an open case as shown from the above. It may have worked for some ( like yourself ) but not everyone.

PS. Sony said that my transaction went through fine, and that it's not me or my PS3,  it's a problem that's be raised with themselves and are still working on it.

Wow .
I hope this isn't the case when I renew my subscription in the summer .
Also hope there's some subscription deals appear nearer the summer too .

Re: PS+ Games expired even though renewed within subscription extension period

Having to buy an extension is hardly what I will consider a "solution". I am not gonna renew anyway, since I have lost faith in the reliability of the PSN+ service. Even so, I have still not gotten what I have paid for within my subscription period since half of my games are not available.

It is good that Sony at least seem to do something if it works for some people, but it is still pretty crappy customer service.
