Hey people have any of you had this issue where you go on the ps3 do the update goto log on to change the password and it says its sent a message to your email but you haven't gotten it ive been waiting since the day playstation come back online i've just tried calling the playstation number and all it does is a engaged sound. If anyone knows whats happening please reply or if theres another way to change the password. I got one of my accounts back because it let me change it on the ps3 but its my old account and i dont use it anymore.

Yep same here cant access my account till i get the non existent e mail to change my pword.

Same here, now when I request an e-mail to be sent or click forgotten password, it gives me a server error and doesn't even send it.  My account must be locked by now, tried ringing Sony but it was 9 minutes after they shut

Im a bit confused i updated ps3 TO 3.61 then it requseted me to change my password on screen,i had no need to wait for email it was instantaneous. I then checked my hotmail account and there it was a confirmation of password change no need for 24 hour wait etc and no blocklage of hotmai

Same here, trying to change password for my daughter's sub account with no joy. Doesnt even list the email for the sub account in the drop down list (it only lists 4) from within Account Manangement on my Master Account. Just rang support line and spoke to someone who then put me through to someone else, but then got message saying they are currently busy and to try again later, then got cut off. What a complete mess this is!!!! When trying to change password on sub account message comes up saying email has been sent regarding changing password using a PC, but only email that comes through is email reagrding the PSN outage, and doesnt contain anything with info about changing password. Completely stuck. Has anyone had any joy changing password on sub accounts

Dies anyone know the uk number as i ring up one of them in my country and after i go through all the lists correctly and then i get a tone of engaged *sigh* I guess i will always be making accounts on the ps3 now not the computer.

On my sub account which belongs to my son, the e mail that was used to initialise it was from my previous phone provider. That email is no longer in existence though Sony has said that they have sent an email to that address. Tried to ring Sony and you get 5 minutes of waffle then when you choose your option it gives an engaged tone. I have no idea what to do and my son does not want to start from scratch. What's most annoying is that you get charged for an 0844 number. Its a complete farce.

same here, after 60 hours still no email to reset my 2 secondary accounts, just rung sony playstation and after going through alot of automated menu's to get to a human sony rep, final audio menu says "press 1 to speak to someone", beep......."sorry we are busy at the moment"  click " hummmmm" line dead.... o_0
