There will be scheduled PSN Maintenance taking place Today until Friday 18th November from 14.00PM until 06.00AM GMT.

From 14.00PM until 06.00AM the following services will be unavailable:

• PlayStation Store (PC and Console)
• Customer Account Management
• Account Registration 

Users who are already signed into their account on the PlayStation Network before the maintenance begins should be able to remain signed in and continue their online session (although the above services will still be unavailable).

Users who attempt to log into their account after the maintenance begin will be presented with the site  maintenance notification page.

HOME will also be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance.

Hello.

I am able to login to my account from pc and from PS3.

But I can not finish registration psn account (sub account of mine) for my child - I get message stating: "PlayStation®Network is unavailable due to maintenance.",

when I click the link from the email - https://store.playstation.com/accounts/register/parentConsent.action?platform=pc

Is there something wrong with psn or I am doing it wrong?

Thanks for the heads up, It seems like a longer than normal maintenance window this time around is there something on the horizon or are they having Pizza first.

Why can't the maintenance be done through the day when most people are at work/school instead of starting it when it will be used the most

I shall be out until the evening but I will set playtv to start recording at half 3 just before the maintenance starts

You have two options.

1. The Music Unlimited website (www.qriocity.com) has full playstation account maintenance facilities.

2. A new website is being launched to allow playstation account maintenance. Nobody knows what it is called, or when it will start. This is to allow for the reduction of active devices, due from tomorrow.

The last few times maintenance has been done during the day in eu. It seems it's our turn to have a night time maintenance
