Have you played either MW or MW2 in the past couple of weeks? Endless reams of text telling you to go to various sites for the new hack by so-and-so. Aimbots and shooting through several walls with the boxes popping up showing where other players are.

In MW there are folks flying up and getting onto rooftops where they shouldn't be able to get. It's getting ridiculous again.

I'm not an xbox fan but their report system for folks tampering should be implemented in the next FW update. There has to be a way of detecting people using these hacked files whilst they are in game and either start warning them, before limiting their access or going further.

Will there be a post on the blog about this? I think a lot of people might miss one thread in the entire forum but would check the blog and see a post there.

Sony Playstation 3 - It only does everything....

Except tell anyone on the machine itself when maintenance is happening!!!!

Not everyone uses, or is aware of the forums or the blog, leaving the rest of the ps3 users bewildered as to why they can't sign in or can't access Home or other services.

Sort this oversight out please- it's a ridiculous situation when the majority of the users of the PS3 are left totally in the dark in these situations.

What do you want them to do, put a add in the paper or TV saying ' maintenance will be taking place on such such day at such time'.

I also cant  get signed in, get error dsn 80710102. Internet on PS

 however works.

I keep on getting error DSN80710102 when I try sign in to PS netowrk. The internet on PS3 however works. Why do I get this error and how do i fix it.

I assume you didn't bother to even read or maybe you just didn't understand my point.

To make it clearer for you....A lot of people don't use or want to use the forums/blog they own a PS3 (which claims to have everything)

so here is the shocker, why not use the PS3 itself to tell people

when there is maintenance.

There is already a scrolling ticker feature- why not use it?!!
