gutted....10:25pm and still cant get signed in...if this keeps up we will be looking for a wee freebie for the the time we have lost....all the games i want to play are either multiplayer or have been downloaded via ps+...get it sorted sony.....rant over.

Well done and thanks for that valuable contribution to the thread. Unfortunately there are many of us who cant sign in therefore have no online gaming or ps+ titles, which is a paid for service by the way. Next time if you dont have anything to contribute, best not say anything yea??

Just wondering, Is it just the people with PS+ that can't sign in or something then?

Only thinking, as I've had no sign out issues either, and also turned my PS3 off 3 times (due to trying to check the store, and the back button not working, and no option to quit)

and each time after restarting I've been able to sign in straight away without an issue.

I've been working loong hours so had lovefilm, iplayer, movies on in the background and not a single sign out so If anything, it's almost been more stable than it ever has

No to the above, i can't sign in on my main account and i don't have ps+ but i can sign in on a different account and play online but not the store.

Has anyone at Sony heard of testing on a standalone mirror of the live system? And from that devising backout plans? Or does this just happen at other organisations with a large high availability public access systems!

does anyone else have this problem? 

I can sign in to my account but if i want to access any games online features i get told that the games servers are down. not Sonys? this has happened on both ps3 and vita. fifa (both platforms), black ops2. far cry 3 and dust 514. i kseep getting The maintenance screen on my account but just cant understand why i cant play online when all my mates can?

This whole thing is screwy  .

I 've been able  to sign  in & out  on the forums  all day  on laptop  & PS3 .

Signed out of PSN on PS3 @ 4pm  when maintenance started on 17th JAN  .

Signed  back in on PSN  on PS3  11:15 am  on 18th jan  & been able  to play  AC-3 Multiplayer  without problems  ever since  & earn online trophies .

Can sign in & out  on ps3  & play online  without problems at all .  

Some on my friend list  can't play certain games online .  others can't even sign into PSN .

My only restriction is  i can't access the PS Store  or any PS+ content   & can't use  Accnt management .

Is this  just  weird maintenance  or has PSN been hacked  again  ???
