I'm only guessing because some of that post had a very similer message to the anon vid and it was posted before Sony anounced the external intru- and we were all speculateing weather or not hackers had anything to do with this.
We know there Reading blogs and forums for the own personal satisfaction so there must be some anon posting to, it may not be anon but thay are loveing this to much, so beleave them or not it's still hackers that are resposeable!
Whoever... You give the relitvely harmless hackers a bad name, who do hacks for a rep not to disrupt.

Of course the big concern isn't just THIS downtime.

It seems Sony have hinted hackers ARE involved right?

So if and when Sony get the upper hand and get things running again, what's to say it isn't going to get hit again almost immediately and keep getting hit?

There has been pretty regular interruptions to the service recently as it is and it may well get much worse.

Unfortunately, my plan to use my brand new xbox live subscription and xbox version of BO as a failsafe option to always be able to play online has hit a major snag - I HATE that stupid xbox controller!!!  The put the left stick in the wrong hole in the casing

This is one of the main reasons why i have stuck with Playstation all these years. It's come to the point where i'm willing to give the silly controller a chance.

This situation is pretty bad. Not being able to rely on PSN to work, as dented my love for all things Playstation. I'm seriously thinking of defecting.

Defecting. I've seen some stupid posts over the past 3 days but words like this just crack me up. It's an online service. It's not the end of the world. You can still play the PS3 perfectly fine. If you enjoy the PS3, this downtime should not make you post words like that!!!!
