Yes, this HAS been posted once or twice before, but it's really getting ridiculous.

I see no reason why Cyprus, does not have a PSN Store?

1) We have numerous Sony Centers and Stores here.

2) We are in the EU. The EU! That means there should be little if any restrictions!

3) The currency is in Euro as well.

4) If it's so much of a trouble, just pretend we're a Greek Island than we can get access to the Greek PSN/Store/Home.

Why!? What's your problem? Just put up what other EU countries are seeing, we don't have to be any different!

And I'm posting from my UK account. My account with all my trophies etc is on my Cypriot account. Another thing...if dummy accounts can download stuff and go onto Home, what the hell is stopping you? Everything works fine!

Other small countries in EU dont have store either. I watch this forum for a year now and didnt see SCEE's answer, so i think they dont care, tried to call SCEE, but they dont know what my country is and where it is. My country is Lithuania, they ask questions like: is it in Poland? ***** sony?! There's sony ads here too. Mods dont say anything either. But at least you have Cyprus in the country list and can register your account, there's some countries in EU...I'M SAYING AGAIN IN EUROPE UNION!!!! wich are not in the list and they cannot register account to their country.

It's quite rediculous! They also seem to be failing at Geography. I guess if it's big then it gets a PS Store!

I moved to cyprus from the uk in April 08 bringing my UK playstation with me!!

i still use the eu/UK store and even have American/jap accounts on my ps3 system aswell

i suggest u setup a uk sub account on your machine you can even buy psn network card in pounds at a well known store in lefkosia(nicosia)

the only probs i still get ***** with is not being able to use the vidzone app and only being able to use the bbc iplayer for radio broadcasts as oppose to tv and radio due to being outside of the uk!!

I live in Morocco and THEY DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PSN AVAILABLE FOR US !! I'm using an alternate account using a wrong country. I can't find Morocco in the list of countries when I try to sign up for a PSN account on my PS3. Morocco is a PAL country and member of the SCEE territories (see the link in my signature). Many Playstation consoles are sold here, (I bet much more than other countries with smaller population such as Lebanon adn Oman which have the PSN).

I have a UK account as well..but not ALL of the things work! It's really stupid. We don't even KNOW if we're being considered or not. At least we'll know if we should even bother or not.

hello am from cyprus too -.- i have a small theory for now SCEE give access to psn only on countries with broandband and fast internet in general now we are very close to 10mbs i guess when all the isp's can offer fast connections then SCEE will give us psn store.....now you will ask me how do i know? if you go on the psn icon you will see the some info there telling you about what is psn store on the end there is a note saying " * Broandband internet connection required "    until then to solve my problems with dlc i got a 50 pound uk card from ebay and it goes with the flow

Sorry, but your theory is wrong. It has nothing to do with internet speed and connection. Lithuania has one of the fastest internet in europe and in the world, and there's no PSN store.

Sony dont want to support small countries.
