Password reset system is not secure

Noticed this on twitter. - EMERGENCY! Web based Password reset system is NOT secure - is vulnerable to exploit using only email and DOB.

n00b question time :smileyhappy: how do you go about changing the email address associated with your PSN? trying to find a guide on t'interweb at the moment. but someone here may know more.

want to be 100% sure if it is changed it will still be associated with my current psn.

I have noticed a bug on the sign in screen...... I've had 3 ps3's now using 2nd gen model and I didn't use my original ps3 systems to log back in and I didn't do a email reset so this whole extra security is crap complete bs how ur QA team didn't notice that I will never know

It doesn't matter if it was the original ps3 system, it just needs to be activated.

Account Management > Account Information > Sign-In ID.

 

 

I just changed mine. Have an email that is not being used anyway.
