Bored of the same ID all the time, too many trophies to restart over. Mistake put my name in the ID too but think it's just first thing you think of at the time, tho' i didn't actually make this account, friend did. Liked the ID & stuff at the time but bored of it now.

Think a fiver for a change is reasonable, once a year to prevent spamming it. Sounds fair, can't see why Japanese have it & EU don't

my PSN ID is unique to my account. i have changed my log in email address and password 3 times over the last year, so my trophies purchases and friends are linked to GLASSFISH not to my email address. maybe what they should do is create an alias option. if you choose to display an alias, it will display in a different font or colour so people know its an alias. and if you can check the persons profile for their 'real' name. i also think you should be able to put more info on your profile page, and status.

Even if they don't allow you to change your PSN ID, they should at least let you change your display name like Steam accounts. You have your login name but you can still customize your in game display names.

I would definitely like to change my display name. When I just got it, I was rushing to make one up so that I could play sooner, and now I'm stuck with a stupid name.

I created a new  PSN after my PS YLOD'd on me, but at the loss of WAW platinum. It's a choice I still stand by.
