Nice bump, which could have been killed off with one simple response. Sony have recently stated that the PS3 will never support X-Game chat due to hardware/software limitations. Ende Thread.

Yes frankly, it would ruin round based gamemodes such as search and destroy, socom would become pointless ans you could talk to people when dead. Secondly i don't really want to listen to friends/ other people moan about being killed on COD / raging on it while i play a nice bit of uncharted3, sure if the option was there i may use it, but its certainly not needed/ wanted as much as you think. I would rather have more exclusive games than this although there is already to many

Well they need to do something, tried the current voice chat options last night and it stinks. At least let me navigate around the XMB while chatting so I can look through the store etc. Video chat was the most boring feature of the 360 as you couldn't do anything else while watching someone talking to you and seriously who actually uses that?

Not including the fact that the PSN Voice/Video Chat window is bright white, talk about plasma burn if you chat for long enough. I say it again something that was designed an implemented by someone who obviously has no experience playing online games.

Look the bottom line is that they would of put the feature in already if they wanted it in but they havnt so just get over it. If you want x chat then just go to xbox. oh and its not about tryibg to get features that xbox has that would be pointless. Rant over!
