Playstation Live Network Card

I noticed recently that argos have listed on their Irish site the following Playstation 'Live' Network Card for £25 credit - http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9370906/Trail/searchtext%3EPLAYSTATION+NETWORK+CARD.ht...

(They also have one for £35)

Two things I see wrong with this:

1) Why are they naming it 'Live'? :smileyfrustrated:

2) Correct me if I am wrong, but will PSN not refuse a sterling PSN card when you try to redeem it with an Irish account? :Scared:

I tried to bring this to their attention but they have ignored me D:

Can someone 'Official' tell them? :smileytongue:

Re: Playstation Live Network Card

Ireland uses the Euro yes. I didn't buy one of these cards but I can just imagine the number of people that do or will and the card will not work on their account.

I know where the Live came from too :smileytongue: I just don't know why when I pointed it out to them and they investigated, it is still left like that

Re: Playstation Live Network Card

46 actually :smileytongue: Just got the Resistance 3 one

Well, think about if someone's mother is asked to get a PSN card when she is out shopping. She goes into argos and orders one. Cannot be returned once purchased as far as I know

True, they could make a new account to redeem it but why should they have to? Could sell it.... same applies.

I don't think argos should stock the sterling cards in Irish stores :smileytongue:

Re: Playstation Live Network Card

i noticed this too in the last catalogue, figured enough people would complain that the cards cant be used in ireland and PSN terms and conditions (as if anyone reads pays attention to them) say we can only set up accounts for the region we're in making the cards useless to irish consumers... anyway, new catalogue is out now and STILL has the GBP cards £25 and £35 priced at €32.49 and €42.49

argos seem to have a problem with playstation it seems, the PSP essentials range are priced at €11.99 when the whole point of them is the €9.99 pricetag and they're taking the ***** with their PS Vita pricing... €294.99 for wifi only version and €355.99 for the 3G one! someone needs to be sacked because they're pulling stock from wrong region and prices out of their (i'll censor this myself)!!!
