What's the signal strength of your wireless link? Has it dropped recently?
If so, move the aerial and reboot the router. Also try plugging the PS3 straight into the router to see if that works, that should tell you if it's a wireless problem or not.

I have other WIFI devices running off it without a problem. I will try rebooting the WIFI router tonight if the full lengthy power off of the PS3 hasn't worked.

you could also factory reset your ps3 + router if all fails

Reboot of the WIFI router worked. Very odd indeed as I had no probs using it for other stuff or connecting to it from the PS3.

Oh well, computers! Bah!

Mine PSN is playing up all the time. If i leave it for 10 seconds then try to sighn in again it works.
