Ps3 Setting up wireles Connection Saying the attempt to optain ip address timed out help needed

I must be doing something wrong but not sure what can anyone help me never had this problem before when setting it up wireless to my by hub.

Well are the IP address settings on automatic or did you set the IP information yourself? If it's on automatic, then it could be to do with your network (depending on what your network is), but if you set the info manually, then double check the info, make sure if you manually entered an IP address it isn't conflicting with anything else.
