Hey guys. This seems to be a common theme with EA's games, I can't connect to my friend online on Rock band 3. We've both tried sending eachother invites however it just gets a connection error about 6 seconds in while loading. I'm using a BT Homehub modem, i've tried forwarding the ports in the manual to my PS3 it either doesn't register, (the below ports) or says they're conflicting (3658 alone). 

The ports are: TCP: 80, 443, 5223 and UDP: 3478, 3479, 3658.

I've previously added my ps3 to the application settings of the modem so it's NAT type 2.

I'm using wireless however my wireless works with every other game i've tried, plus ethernet cable isn't really an option as the phone line is downstairs, which is quite a trek for a cable.

Any advice would be helpful as im not the most tech savvy of people.

You BOTH/ALL need to set up your PSN connections the same...DMZ them both or at least make sure you have BOTH opened the same PSN ports and the RB3/EA ports.....

I had this problem with GH....I can connect to one friend and other "RANDOMS" but never 2 friends or even 3.....

I still have this problem as one of my friends doesn't know how to open their ports....We all gave up in the end...

I'm sure we have both have the same ports open, I manually put in mine, however he's on sky and my own personal experience with sky is that it already has such ports open.

I don't think he's Inclined to dmz his as his is working perfectly fine, I'm pretty sure the problem is on my end however I don't know where. Sorry if the info i'm giving is pretty vague btw.

I'm also with SKY and although i'm connected fine to the PSN, I assure you in order to connect to certain people i needed to DMZ my PS3 and make sure others had aswell....
