Re: SEN

PSN or SEN uses different ports than Xbox live.

It also uses different ports to web browsing.

Just like FTP, HTTP, Bonjour, Airplay, DLNA, All use different port connections.

Having one system work does not mean you will be troube frre for other technology.

DMZ, static IP, Removal of brother from online, Hardwired PS3 instead of Wifi,

And may more things can be a solution...

Re: SEN

It will always be PlayStation Network. This board is still PlayStation Network. The PlayStation Network icon is still on our consoles. We download and play games on the PlayStation Network and always will.

All that changed was your PlayStation Network account changed into a SEN account which signs you into all the other SEN applications like Music and Films Unlimited which can be accessed from all sorts of Sony devices like TVs and smartphones. It has unified everything together so you have one SEN account which gives you access to Music Unlimited, Films Unlimited AND PlayStation Network.

Think of it like this. SEN is the parent, and PlayStation Network is an offspring :smileyvery-happy:

                                              Sony Entertainment Network

PlayStation Network                          Music Unlimited                                  Films Unlimited

NOW PLAYING:  Max Payne 3 / Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

This is from the SEN website. As you can see PSN is still there and is not going anywhere. There really is no need to call it SEN unless you are referring to your account. Which is a SEN account.
