Hi, since a few days the download speed of playstation store products is extremely slow. The new Fifa 13 demo will take me 500+ minutes to download, according the playstations estimation. Are there more users having this problem?
I checked my internet connection under the network settings, and it said my internet speed is 11 Mbps. Transferring files from my PC to my Ps3 also work fine, and normal internet browsing is also no problem. Someone have an idea to solve this?
Thanks !

Ive had major problems with slow downloads and im on a 60MB BT Infinity connection although wireless, i did notice an improvement after i reset the HH3. I downloaded Fifa13 Demo yesterday which was 1.5 gb and it was done within the hour. I also think though that the Ps3 is G wireless compared to the vast majority of people having Wireless N Routers so thats a major factor. I guess until PS4 is released which will be N wireless were stuck with this problem.

Its rubbish. Hardwired into a virgin 60Mb connection and since a rebranding of the store now v.v. slow. So much so, even the trailers are buffering. Thought all that was a thing of the past.
Would have thought Sony would have carried out some load testing before releasing, especially since the last blunder around the store disappearing for so long.
Answer, or action from PSN would be well received seeing as this will end up as bad press again soon if not explained.

Have you tried switching the wireless mode on the Homehub 3 from N to G might be worth a shot?
If a wired connection is not viable i would recommend investing in poir of powerline homeplugs. They beat using a wireless connection anyday you should be able to download at you full speeds.

The situation regarding my laptop is fine even though it is only b/g im using a wireless Adapter and im getting 50mb everytime. With regards to PS3 i can do several connection tests and sometimes i get 15mb but the majority of times i get around 5.0mb. Unfortunatley i cant go down the powerline homeplug router because where the router is situated in the spare room the main plug socket is to low down so the homeplug will not be able to fit in. Ideally id love to be able to send an ethernet cable from my bedroom in to the spare room where the router is but that would mean bringing up the carper in my room and onto the landing into the spare room.
