When sony F's up. it expects its customers to pay the price to get it fixed. You can call a premium rate number or to get customee service to help.... this is so customer service workers dont get the sack for the lack of funding to pay their wages.
But if a company is the one that F'd up, by law they are the ones that should solve the issue at their own expence. not at more expence to the customer.
If your purchase F's up and it was the companies fault, they are liable to fix it at no furher cost to you.
Dont call them at your own expence for something that was their fault. they made near a billion in the last few weeks. they are the ones being stubborn.

Comanies Also F up things so they can offer you a chance spend more money on them. They creat problems and then give you a phone number to call customer service at your cost to fix it. Bull *****. Dont give into this corperate bull *****.

Thats where intelligence helps when you buy things always consider if not buy extended warranties.
Some how i don't think people like yourself not ringing customer support will make a dent in the staffs wages.
Depending on how old your ps3 was & how far out of warranty they may have offered to fix it.
But if you took tone on the phone like you written here then i'm not suprised they didn't do anything.

Employees of Sony take on Psn memberships for themselves to defend Sony. Go and kiss some more corperate ass suck up.....
Some members of the Psn that respond in favour of bull sht greedy company that want to own your consumers rights respond against the truth because they are Customer service pretending they are real members.
so far ive had two corperate ass kissers defebding sony. today sony even lied about the hack that happened on the psn. male no mostake,expect deciept when a psn member has tons of corperate ***** on their lips
