I'm having to stay in today to wait for the repair guy for the door to come out, would be nice if I could use that new PS3 as there's not much else I can do today but sit here.

There isint realy nothing you can do if your Ps3 has been sold. Since you dont have the serial nummers

I wouldnt know if its been sold, it was stolen from me in a burglary.

Poor bloke, I'm up to 4 activations due to YLOD and various corruption issues OP so I fear the same problem awaits me at some point.

 

I hope the mods get it sorted out for you :smileyhappy:

There needs to be a better system to deal with this I think, if this issue ain't fixed this is going to be the end of my PlayStation gaming. I've had this account years & would be gutted to lose it.

 

If those numbers are so important then I don't understand when I called to register the 120gb slim they said they no longer register PS3 anymore.

Maybe Sony could implement the same method iTunes uses whereby once you reach your limit of 5 authorised devices you can simply deactivate them all at once. No need for serial numbers or phone calls to Customer Services, just the click of a button and  'Piff, paff. p00f' it's all done

Hi PAinKiLLa777,

 

The support team have received your email relating to the police crime reference number and are currently looking into this matter for you. I can't really confirm anymore than this I'm afraid as it's with those guys but they are certainly looking into the matter further.
