cross game chat would be legit. also a easier way to send friend invites like for example when they sign in press select and it gives an option to invite to the game or message. and give the ps3 its own start up point like where u get the options to go on internet listen to music play your game or movie etc etc. not just the psp start up.. pretty much just a simple update deal

2 things:
1. I don't like how the store is set out. I can never find what i want. It would be good if when selecting options on a game it confirmed what DLC you have and what DLC is available and a link to the store.
2. Open the PS3 up to 3rd party apps. look at the iphone app store and just think what a boon that would be to the PS3. Sony wants the space under the TV, they however cannot know what everyone wants, so just let other people do the leg work for them.
p.s. improvements to the browser would kick ass (a fully functional browser would solve a lot of limitations).
For the first point, the store already does this, go to game-addons and select the game, it will show what you have downloaded. Not hard if you think about it..
As to opening the platform up to devs in manner of the App store; it might be 'young' but how about the Minis series mainly developed for the psp, playable on ps3. Sure the upscaling need some work but if your expecting small games with full hd graphics, the prices you'd be paying for the likes of the pixeljunk series are good!

I don't mean games. but rather applications for the PS3 (I don't know what they might be, but then again that is the idea. If someone has an idea they can make it). That said I don't really know what the mini series is (not having a psp)

Here are a few suggestions:
1. Sort out the bloody random failures of PSN. In the past few months, i have been disconnected from games mid-session, have had trouble finding players on for a deathmatch in Ubncharted 2 (sometimes waiting as long as 20 minutes!), have had Ps3 themes corrupt my HDMI settings (keeps resetting everytime i log off) and also have had online games freezing on me.
2. Backwards compatability- i have tonnes of PS2 games that i love so why the hell cant i play any of them ![]()
3. PSN store is very badly laid out with dull, unhelpful menus and confusing signs- for example if you click into PSP link you get PSOne games and also the "Whats new" link is pitifully sparse.
4. HOME- Get rid of ot for good. A complete white elephant and possibly one of the biggest mistakes Sony has ever made. It takes far too long to download, its painfully dull and populated with Yank arseholes trying to be cool. QUite sad if you enjoy HOME, says a lot about your social skills.
5. Why do so many games lose resolution when you play them online? Im thinking particularly the Buzz games. Seriously, for anyone who has Buzz Quiz World or Buzz Quiz TV- play an offline game and enjoy the crystal clear graphics and sharp speeds. But the second you go online, the picture becomes squashed and pixellated, the gaming speed crawls to a halt and its rife with lag. Not acceptable in 2010.

There should be a Demo section on the store..there's no excuse not to have it, and I'm sure its easy to just put it in there.
Also downloading from the store is awful...I can download the same demo faster on my 360.
I think they should just improve the service now..instead of thinking of charging people for it.

It would be good if you could change your PSN name
It would be good if they put Tekken 3 and Driver 2 on the Playstation store in PsOne Claissics
It would be good if you could have bigger places on Playstation Home
and all these things can improve PSN

Give us a Block list that will actually stop us from playing any future games with people on it!
