What config should we setup if we have two PS3's behind the same router?
I see that my PS3 likes port 3658 very much. It Always maps this port when using the PS3.
Whatt happens if i have two PS3's that wants the same port mapped to itself (upnp)?

thats totaly up to the Router. most only allow 1 device to send UPnP data at one time. If both PS3's have the same local IP Address then there should not be a problem as the router will send the data to all ports of both PS3s. just remember to allow out going data from the second PS3 as well in any firewalls in your router.....

upnp is on the router! it is advertised to all devices on the network (whether they want it or not - even if they dont use it?) if both ps3s are correctly configured the router should mange fine..if not then you will have to use port forwarding...which is not a problem. just duplicate all required entries..
i would ensure that if your using dhcp that you map the mac address to a specific ip address (or use a fixed ip address) - check your manual for how to do this? as if you connect a different device one day before a ps3 the ps3 may not be at the same ip address as your port forwarding.

UPnP is a system it can be built in to what ever the designers want. from a media server to a Bit torrent client, to A Video messaging system.
The same IP can be assigned manualy to any amount of equipment. I have over 3, 1 PS3, 1 USA PS2 (to kill the yanks ), 1 PAL PS2 (to kill the euros ), that are on the same IP's ( the last 2 were online at the same time as each other before I got the PS3 ) as its the only way to connect to the router as no ports can be assigned to more than 1 IP this would restrict people to having only 1 peice of equipment of the same type connected to at one time, and that would be rubbish. yes the ping is a bit increased 10ms. The routers Qos system controlls the download and upload of each port as equals. The routers use Mac address to tell which port requested which peice of info so its not a problem on my £20 router.
( you have got me wondering how low the Qos could take the PS3 before I sign out of the PSN gonna test that )

The same IP address can be `manually configured` to as many devices as you wish? but due to the nature of the IP addresses work? it is impossible to have two IP addresses working on the same LAN at the same time. It is possible via 'virtual LANS' and such other masking networking tools, but on a standard router they dont exist. I am not sure by what you mean by ' router as no ports can be assigned to more than 1 IP this would restrict people to having only 1 peice of equipment of the same type connected to at one time' if actually mean holes you put the RJ45 cables into then yes it would not be much of a router to have only one port if you mean by number of devices that can connect to a router (wired or wireless) then you can usually have 255 devices as long as you use IP addresses that are not duplicated?
As for routers QOS - I wouldnt know but that usually requires two devices that talk QOS - Quality of Service is usually used for streaming files or VOIP

Not read above have you.
The same Ports needed to be open to each devices with out having to keep changing settings
1 PAL PS2 (running on laptops screen)
1 NTSC PS2
1 PAL PS3 ( when running PS2 software )
so you can run software on any device at any time. so i don't have to log out.
I was running both versions of socom3 at the same time with out shutting ether down and socom CA later with out turning ether off they were always online. the PS2 and PS3 do as told, and connect. the PS3 is online as is the PS2 are both on Right now. Same manual IP.
