i was playing rock band 2 all day today whilst signed into psn. no problems until about 10 minutes ago. tried to synce my trophies, got the 8001050F error. looked it up online, got nowhere, decided to put Heavy Rain in, and now this thing about registration and the only option to quit. *****

I was not playing any games...I don't even own Heavy Rain, so it has nothing to do with the game, I don't think.

I was playing mw2 ,come off for 10 mins tryed come back on and got the error code 8001050f

so its not the game or gamedata because i've nerver had it

I was playing Bionic Commando: Rearmed or whatever it's called and started cursing the game because in it's own trophy list it said I'd earned the "meet with annihilation" trophy but I got no big badda bling. Then I shat myself as various posts on the interwebs said that code 050F or whatever is a hardware problem before stumbling on this forum. At least me PS3 is sound, if a little crackers with no dynamic theme and a clock intend on reliving the past.

Now I know why Xbox Live is superior even if you have to pay for it!
