[ Edited ]

it seems that the problem with the date make the games reset the trophy list... makes sense.

has anyone tried to just go in the menu of the trophies and see what happens?

Re: Unable to Sign In to Playstation Network

After reading an earlier post (sorry forgot who the author was) I was getting annoyed that I couldn't play any games and someone suggested that GTA IV still works offline so at first I was a bit sceptical but decided to try it anyway and it worked, so at least I can play that until a solution is found.

Any disc based game without trophy support should be fine... But i think my Star Trek and Smallville blu-rays might have to be broken out while I find a new home for my laserdisc player.... lol

Re: Unable to Sign In to Playstation Network

WHAT THE FCK SONY! This 8001050F error needs to be fixed and should have been fixed within 1 hour of the outage. WHAT THE FCK! I paid $600 for my fat PS3 and now I can't play it. This is crap. Then I read that the issue is maily affecting the fat PS3 and not the slim PS3. If this happens to cause the fat PS3s to no longer work I feel you should up grade us to the slim. FREE. ***** it I just want to play MAG! Then tomorrow BFBC2 comes out and I want to play that also. ***** IT SONY FIX THIS ERROR!!!!!

What stupid fck came up with the idea to control offline gameplay???  I didn't just get this ***** system to play online.  I got this system to play online and offline.  I have a daughter who likes to play her games and is only allowed to play offline.  But since this error I can't play offline either.  Online is one thing but Offline should not have a feature to keep us from playing.  Offline play should be playable just incase something like this happens.  What a load of crap SONY.  Get your crap together and fix this outage.

On the brightside glad I own a 360.

Re: Unable to Sign In to Playstation Network - Error Code 8001050F

It is heavy rain causing the issues, I have 2 ps3 systems and the only one with the error code is the one I played heavy rain on, my other console is signing in to the network with no problems and the time and date are correct.

When I finally got through to sony I was told to wait for them to sort out the network issues which are worldwide and they don't have any estimated times for how long this may take, but as my second machine has proved it is not a network issue but a heavy rain one.
