Re: The most entertaining day of Forummage EVER!!

Loved it all, no PS3 to play with, so spent my time here, and what fun it's been.

Glad it's over now, hope it never happens again.

And no, you won't get any compensation, the PSN was/is fine. You can't get a refund for something that is free.

But please Sony, please, please, please keep your loyal users up to date should anything like this ever happen again.

Please use plain text.

this wasnt the issue for me.
I hardly ever play online,so not botherd about that ......What i was botherd about was that i couldnt access my 50+ PSN games at all, even though i'd paid for them.
And all most all of my blu-ray based games refused to work as well.
And non of the above games were free.Just because PSN is free, shouldnt mean i cant play any games when its down, thats crazy.
I'm sure this is a one off though and we can all go back to normal.

It's been a Helluva day but i'm glad it's over. It's just a shame i'm probably too drunk to actually play anything now that I can. Please Sony, no more days like this, I dont think my liver could take it!

I totally agree!

From conspiracy theories and wild mis-directed finger-pointing, to woeful bleating about lost trophies and now directionless existence and a hilarious dash of armchair theorists in-fighting to effect their own dominance in the "Who has the wackiest ideas of causes and solutions" flaming rounds, it truly has been a day to remember.

Nice summary. I hadn't realised that tantrums from gaming addicts could be so entertaining!

I'm also hoping that this becomes an annual event.

Great, now where's our freebie?

Well done for getting the psn back up and running!

By way of compensation for all of us who were without our little black boxes for so long, I would be good if by way of apology we could get a free download from the playstation store.

What does everyone think?

Bare in mind you dont actually pay for the service.....

Its like asking for a free stacey adams spit shine and having to end up needing an amberlamps.

To put things into a different perspective..... although you think you are paying for a service that you clearly arenty, you only really had downtime for one evening, that is going on the basis that you have a job.

You see today I accomplished quite a lot, I went out the house after work and went for a jog, then I drove to my girlfriends and we made dinner, im not entirely sure I want PSN back at all....
