Thats happened to mine too.

Also the dynamic theme i was running has dissapeared off my system.

I wonder whats going off. How secure is the PSN?

Ha ha. Yeah, just went to check. The date has gone back and can't connect to the interwebs to fix it. This is messed up. Strange thing is, I just used my PC and updated my trophy card so no trophies have gone missing, and surely the network is ok somewhere along the line or the card wouldnt be able to update would it???

What a bizarre evening!! If it was just the PSN being down, why would the date and time on our PS3's suddenly jump back ten years?! Maybe there's something like the Milennium bug in the PS3 and it was expecting 29th Feb 2010 to exist and it simply doesn't?!! So when it got to midnight (or 2300 for some reason) the PS3 simply freaked out?!

I'm interested to know if there's anyone here experiencing this problem who HASN'T played Heavy Rain. I want to determine whether that game is the cause of this or not.

Ive just had a look at my second PS3 - it has a net connection, but i leave it signed out of the PSN all the time.

Its showing the correct time/date, but the dynamic theme has vanished off that one too.

Another wierd thing, has anyone seen the NEW North American PlayStation.com site? It's drastically changed today, maybe that has somehting do with it?

Well, I'm giving up, watching a film and going to bed. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we all woke up dead tomorrow! This could really be the beginning of the end.

Same issue here. Time and date has changed and can't connect to correct it or connect to Playstation Network.

Weird thing is my sons ps3 in the other room is working just fine and has no problem connecting.
