Using EU acc in America

Right, so I have moved to North America from Europe.

I know that DLC is region locked, meaning I can't buy dlc for America region games using my european account.

What I'd like to know is if I created a new ps3 user account and from there make a new american PSN account, if I downloaded DLC from that american account would it run on my european ps3 account?

And does an american region DLC work on an euro region game?

Please use plain text.

DLC is region locked so American DLC will not work on European games and vice versa.

Re: Using EU acc in America

Since you've moved to the US, you won't be breaking the T's & C's by creating a US account.

Everything is shared between all the user accounts, so you can download DLC for your American games and use them on your EU account.

Why did you ask the last question since you know that DLC is region locked so DLC for a US game won't work on the EU version of the same game.

Re: Using EU acc in America

very well then.

Just one more thing, does the save data have a region or is it just the blu-ray?

What i mean is, can i use an european game save data on an american blu-ray? (of the same game ofc)

Re: Using EU acc in America

I doubt that you'd be able to since the same game from different regions will have a different code (what you see on the disc and the spine of the cover) and even changing all the necessary files and folders might not get it working (it does for changing save files from DL versions to make them work on disc versions as well as the other way around, but I'd doubt that it'll work on saves from games in different regions).
