Re: Welcome Back program just announced by Sony

Just out of curiosity, ive had my system since they came out the good ol' 60gb version. Ive done the system update, changed password, now im on my PC checking my account to discover that i dont have a ps3 sytem registered or PSP ?!? *****! will this hinder me in any way, and why if i have a PSN account, done through my PS3 would it not automatically have registered it!!!

Oh and i promiosed my wife id ask why the games offered A) dont accomadate the older gen? B) Dont accomodate females who dont play violence based games? C) have offered such old games most people have got? D) when will this be changed?

(She already has LBP and has completed it...twice! any chance LBP 2 instead? (Or Battlefield 3!lol))

Re: Welcome Back program just announced by Sony

Having read a few post i think its fair to say offer up these old games is a bit of a half arsed job. If we wanted them we would have bought long before now. I have no interest in PS+, again woulda got it when it first came out.......This whole thing doesnt fill me with confidence in Sony, but neither does it put me off

Sony, work with us, let us help you to help us........change the list of games, or extend it, or as many have suggested, add our wallets within PSN to the value of whats being offered and allow us to make our own choices, rather than dress up force feeding as something else entirely. Lets call a spade a spade, and start approaching this better than you have. You havent rushed getting the PSN back up and running, so you get it right, so why start now?

Re: Welcome Back program just announced by Sony

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered but was just wondering if the welcome back package applies to each psn account? For example, if I've got three accounts all on the same ps3, am I able to get 6 free games? And before anyone says there's only 5 to choose from, one of the accounts is usa based and they've got a different game choice to Europe!

@IronHide

With your PS+ issue, thats an opinion. People like me who want discounts on items and ps+ exclusive items will benefit from this.

The problem comes with the games, because everyone has played these games. The list either needs an extension, or needs to be removed due to the welcome pack not being a huge benefit

Re: Welcome Back program just announced by Sony

It's much the same as Europe just that instead of R&C they've got super Stardust HD (or something like that). Oh, if anyone's looking for an epic fail, my old 60gb phat ylod'd a full 30mins after psn coming back online! D'oh!!

Already played/owned all these games so i don't really benefit from this package. Plus the games offered are cheap as chips to buy now anyway. Oh well, just glad to have online functions back tbh

Playing: Crysis 3, MGR:R, Blops 2, AC3 Awaiting: GTA5!!!
