Re: Welcome Back

To play Burnout you need to subscribe to PS+ as this game wasn't part of the welcome back pack.

Re: Welcome Back

You do get some free games if you subscribe to PS+ but once you cancel your sub they become worthless. The things you get to keep are the avatars, themes and DLC.

Re: Welcome Back

I also missed out on this.. i think this is bull*****. People have consoles to play occasionally so not everyone goes on theirs every day and sometimes not even for a month or 2 (like me).

So they ***** up and if you dont play your console regular you get screwed even more, Nice.

I think i'll purchase my games on other platforms from now on, seems like everytime i put money into my playstation 3 i get screwed over. (lost 3 years worth of saves and a lot of features because my original ps3 died)

Atleast xbox made their new consoles BETTER (in every way) and they are still cheaper.. sony you need to pull your fingers out to get back into the race, maybe start by giving us casual's our games!

Re: Welcome Back

As you see my access to the internet is sporadic.

Anyway I am assuming there is now no way of retrieving a free game?
Pity, I would have liked WipeOut.

Re: Welcome Back

You could have used a friends conection to do the downloads of the welcome back pack.

Burnout will remain free for those who subscribe to PS+ and remain to subscribed to PS+

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

Re: Welcome Back

Nah, none of my friends have broadband but that's not what I meant.

Only game that sounded interesting was the wipeout one.

The PS3 got left aside when we couldn't play GT5 online... which was the only reason we actually got the PS3 to begin with -_-

Ah well. I didn't get the freebie alerts last time but if anything happens again that I hear on the news I shall be roaming the forums.
