If there was any real chance of SCE dragging Sony down that far they would be out of the gaming market like a greased weasel.

But there isn't, so they won't.

Either way I'm not sure I'd put much money on a PS4 ever being released.

Re: Welcome back program, EU and US.

TYO 6758 is the main company that over seeas all Coorperations. It is the head Firm not for just the gaming parts of it but for its electronics as well. so whne that stock has issues you can bet you bottom Currencey, that it will effect all divisons of Sony. My biggest thing is when I hear "INvestors Selling" that makes me a bit curiouse. Who are Sony's investors, what effeluence do they have over the company, How importnat are they? And what does it mean when investors start turning there back on a company. even though it be only 2%, You very well maybe right there may not be a PS4 coming out in 2012, or if there is one that does come out,did sony Learn there elsson on what to offer its users?

The PS3 has created the most debate amoung consoles. We can surely all agree on that. But Sony has made a very big and very costly mistake.

and many consumers are left to wondering what is "Going on behind Clsoed doors"?

We only see one deminsion , but like a game Sony has 3 demisnions to it as well. the question is are all three demnsions working togeather or are they starting to fall appart?

to me if I am going to invest in a game console, I deserve the right to know  a few things. Who wehre the investors that helped sony with the machine, what was the intentions initially for the production of the PS3 and did Sony treat there investors liek they treated us the Consumers?

Like it or not, Investors are those that invest in a company because they believe it to be an asset, but if the company becomes a burden, then they toss it aside and sell there shares.

A company that creates games must have investors, and it must keep those investors they pay Sony Money. but take away of Sony's main source of income like investors and so forth and one has a real problem on there hands.

oh and a note, for some odd reason SCEA is now SNEA . Just make a mentle note of it. No clue as to why they changed it but that is the truth.

Re: Welcome back program disgust between EU and US

And it is precisely that "Who cares attitutde" that leave people wondering when a something major happens. Kids Do not care, but most adults don't want to pay for something that is expensive and has a realitively short term. But then again, who cares if Sony were to lsoe there investors and then would have to clsoe there PSN Store. Nothing is truely free. It costs the company to maintain the store in any country, it costs the company money to make sure that things are secure, and those that "Do Not Care" have not learened there lesson.. Maybe it is time we start caring. Maybe it is time we start looking more deeply into what it is we have gotten our selves into. There is a time to care. Sony said that they Dodn't care aobut there online security and take alook at what has happend. It is time to care. But then again. If all we can say is Who cares? Remeber those words should soemthing occure. I'll refer to this should the event happen that is if it happens.
any rate enough said on the subject. It was my hopes to give some food for thaught . not to start a debate on how a company works or doesn't.

If you think I'm really complaining just because US is getting more free stuff, then your completely wrong. The fact is that EU and everywhere else is getting the short end of the stick, and US benefits more, when everyone had the same issues.

Only the US also got identity theft protection etc, and I can assure you, this is EXTREMELY bad customer service.

Giving something to someone, then giving other people more and better stuff for nothing more than the other person isn't a way to attract new customers/keep old ones, and it shows how much the company really cares about its customers.

This has been the status quo for the last 4 years get used to it.

I've noticed that the US is getting more "freebies" than EU is.

Note the word "freebies". Everybody wants something for nothing these days and despite you saying in later posts that you're not bothered about getting free stuff it's obvious from the tone of your posts that you are. Cannot understand why so many people are throwing their toys out of their prams because they think they are getting robbed by not getting enough free things. Free games, free home items, free PS+, free, free, free. Nothing to complain about there.

In fact, the only thing that people should be curious about in their welcome back package is the choice of id theft protection subscription which has obviously been chosen because of its cheapness. The only real issue here is the fact that personal details ( and possibly credit card information ) has been stolen. Therefore, what people should be concerned about is that a decent id theft protection scheme be used and subscriptions to a credit check agency. After all, if people got their priorities correct it is the use of those details that should be of concern. I like to have a game online as much as the next person but a month without online play didn't hurt anybody. The downloads they are offering ( in EU and the US ) are only worth a few quid which is insignificant compared to the damage that could be done if our personal details are used in terrorism or organised crime.

So you've used your one and only post to the board to say that if Sony don't pay for id protection for you for the rest of your life you will get a Xbox 360? Go get an Xbox. Or not. Either way you ain't gonna get protection for the rest of your life. No wonder the country is in such a mess when it's full of people who think everybody else owes them a living.
