What to choose from the welcome pack

Just wanted some opinions on the welcome pack. I'm not moaning about it, anyone who moans about something which is free needs a slap and the main goodies will come in the PS+ i'm sure. Just wanted some opinions of the games from people who have played them before I choose which ones I want to download.

Sad thing is most of whats there has been given out free already the ones that havent (being infamous and dead nation) have been discounted.

Since I joined PS+ a day too late to get the wipeout HD was debating that but I am useless at the original wipeout (also given out free) so is there a point getting a game ill try to play and fail and give up quickly.

Infamous is a game i always wanted to get but didnt seem good enough to buy so thinking about that, dead nation is just zombies and there are sooo many zombie games out there already, do I really want yet another one.

LBP and racket and clank I already have.

I dont have a PSP but wondering if those options might be available as I could download them for my nephew who has a PSP but his dad never took my advice and registered online and therefore wont get the package. He is only a kid though (about 8 I think) so dont know how appropriate the games are for him.

Re: What to choose from the welcome pack

I have spent very little money on the PSN and I already have 2 out of those 5 games so I can see why "loyal" customers are mightly ****ed off.

Basically they have must have taken the 5 games with lowest potential revenue in the next months to offer as a "gift".On top of that, "Infamous" can push "Infamous 2" sales, "LBP" can push "LBP2" sales.... so all in all kudos to Sony for an excellent marketing initiative. :No-no:

I already have LBP and Wipeout so I guess I will go with Infamous and Dead Nation. I really don't care about a zombie game but basically I have no other option.

It's been said before, but do you really think that those who got their credit card info stolen should get a slap in the face for not liking sony's cheap giveaway?

@ andy, why aren't you considering quest for booty, great game but short though...

Infamous and Dead nation here :/

Infamous is a good choice if you have not got it. Got both LBP and Imfamous already so, those "gifts" are all but piontless for me and the other ones I don't even want.

I don't know... it's so old that it doesn't even have trophies... and I have never played a R&C game so I am not sure I will find the story engaging...

[ Edited ]

I must be one of those rare people that doesn't own any of the games that's on offer so it's going to be difficult on what to pick.

Re: What to choose from the welcome pack

I've been away so only saw the list yesterday night.

I've had LBP, bored me after a few weeks.

Infamous I enjoyed and completed.

I wanted Dead Nation a while back, so will probably go for that.

Can't stand R&C or Wipeout, so netiher of them appeal.

However, for free I will plump for one of them just for freebies sake.

Re: What to choose from the welcome pack

when it was released almost all games had trophies, they probably didn't add any to q4b because it'd be too easy, the whole game is easy.
