Re: Wipeout HD NOT working

here's what you do:

1.  shut down your ps3

2.  turn off your wireless router.

3.  turn back on your ps3

4.  launch your wipeout HD from the menu

5.  watch it pass the auto save screen (previousely freezed)

6.  go to wipeout HD "ONLINE"

7.  enter user name and password.

8.  DONE.   (this fixed my hang firmware problem)

Re: Wipeout HD NOT working

That's a bit extreme, hobbs!! Plus my router's on a very high shelf & I'll need to get a chair...

Just sign out of the PSN via the XMB.

Launch WipEoutHD (it'll work if you're signed out).

Change any setting in the options menu. Any setting at all.

Once it's autosaved, sign in to the PSN again (via PS button > Network on XMB).

It'll work fine once you've done this once.

Confirmed this works.  Sony need to take this patch down till they fix it properly.  And of course comunicate the problems and solutions to customers (but we all know they wont.)

Re: Wipeout HD NOT working

Hmm strange, I've been playing this game since I got it from the welcome back package with no issues, on the 7/8 race series for the original HD then gonna move on to Fury. Also managed to play a few games online with a mate.

Btw, I have a full 100 friend list, so don't think that's really the issue. :smileywink:
