Working with QA

I have started to think a little more seriously about trying to get into the video game industry. I thought the best way to do this is through QA as thats what more people seem to do. In order to do this is through betas and alphas. so far I have been making a list of the testing I have been involved in. I have also started branching out and got into my first android beta today.

Does anyone have any advice, or past experiances in QA. Stuff like for a bug report is formated, and any software you are expected to use. How you played the game, was it with pen and paper by your side, or a dictaphone in close reach. That sort of stuff, any insite or advice would be super useful.

Some good advice from various people to be found in there which you might find useful. I have zero input of my own to add. :cattongue:
