Hello,

I was trying to buy new maps (COD2), but appeared table that it's impossible to add funds. Unfortunetaly my account has been charged for 2 pounds.

What is the problem? I would like to get my 2 pounds back.

Phone  SONY customer services  helpline  mate.

We're all just PS3 owners like you - we can't sort out refunds.

I also thought  it takes a minimum of £5  from your card to add funds to the wallet.

Anyway  Customer services will check your download history  & sort it for you.

not 100% sure - did any of the purchase go through at all?

I believe Sony charge £1 to the account (the 1st time it's used) just to ensure it's a valid card and funds available. did you happen to try a couple of times and maybe they went through?

best bet would be to call sony and ask.

is this every time you enter your details after deleting them? because i dont keep the details on my ps3 :s

My understanding of the process is :-

Sony do a trial transaction to check the vallidity of the card for £1. This is authorised by the CC company and put in suspense (in case it's completed).

Sony don't complete the transaction so the CC company should return the funds to the card.

No money is actually transferred. Call the credit card company to check.

nah, don't think so.  i don't save my details and i don't get the £1 going out each time i use my card.
