If you think the following may be of interest to you, then possibly:

- Automatic backing-up of gamesaves to 'The Cloud' (I really, really HATE that term!), including copy-protected saves;
- Automatic synching of trophies, and downloading of system and game patches;
- Cut-price and free games/demos from PS Store;
- Access to PS Plus Members' area in PS Home (don't get too excited about this one. It's almost always empty);
- A gold cross in the corner of your profile icon;
- Giving Sony some money each year to renew subscription;
- Er, that's it.
